The Pump Room in Szczawnica

The Pump Room in Szczawnica

The Pump Room in Szczawnica is located on Dietl Square in the stylish "House over the Spas", built by Józef Stefan Szalay in 1863.

The building's unique interior houses a beautiful, stylish pump room serving six mineral waters, and on the first floor, the Mineral Water Pump Room Gallery.
It's worth visiting and enjoying a sip of one of the sorrel drinks – Helena, Stefan, Józef, Józefina, Ja, and Magdalena – and stopping by the gallery upstairs to see the current exhibition by a local artist.
Szczawnica's mineral waters – sorrel drinks – are used to treat respiratory and musculoskeletal conditions.
On the first floor of the Pump Room, the Mineral Water Pump Room Gallery hosts exhibitions by local and regional artists, as well as national and international artists.
